As a retired Food Technology teacher, I have always loved making and decorating cakes. I was delighted when my son and daughter in law asked me to make their Wedding cake. This led on to me being asked by numerous friends and family to make Birthday, Anniversary and Wedding cakes for them. As a result I decided to set up my own business: Happy Tiers Yorkshire. I specialise in making and decorating cakes for Weddings and Special Occasions. I make all cakes fresh to order with the finest ingredients and decorate each cake by hand to suit the client's taste. I pride myself in making beautifully delicate hand crafted sugar flowers which I use individually or wire them into sprays or posies to decorate each unique cake. I also hand craft models from sugar to decorate my cakes - often to replicate a whole family. My aim is to achieve all round perfection in the preparation of each bespoke cake to ensure it enhances my client's special day.
